Hi Bill,

I hope this message finds you well. This is Alyson, from Newtown. My husband James and I had one of your 12 x 20 even-pitch sheds with a lean-to on the back built here back in September 2021. I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know how pleased we are with our shed and how glad we are that we went with Country Carpenters (not that there was even a close runner-up–nothing out there compares to the aesthetic of your buildings). As you can see from the pictures, the shed turned out absolutely beautiful and has really enhanced the view in our back yard. We had a stone “patio” laid out underneath the lean-to for James to stack his wood on, and we think it came out great. Nothing makes a New Englander’s heart happier than having several cords of seasoned wood all stacked up in a dry space and ready for winter! Like any classic and simple old New England design, the shed is beautiful all year round, and I’ve had lots of fun decorating the window boxes to suit the season—flowers in spring and summer, mums in the fall, greens and pinecones in the winter. And, of course, it’s as practical as it is beautiful. There’s more than enough room for all of the lawn and leaf equipment, gardening tools, etc. We did lose the loft storage space to our daughters, who turned it into a top-secret hideout that they share with their friends. They put a throw rug down, strung up some LED string lights, and brought some games up there. As for me, I think you just can’t beat that fresh pine smell when you walk into it–something you could never get from those vinyl or Duratemp knock-offs. Everyone who sees our shed remarks on how beautiful it is, and it’s definitely inspired “shed envy” in several guys who’ve come over and gotten a good look at it, both inside and out. We really couldn’t be happier and wanted to thank you and everyone at Country Carpenters for bringing our old New England shed dreams to life!

All the best,

Alyson
